Over the course of the past couple of years DVD ripping techniques have changed dramatically. Newer "one click" programs have made backing up a DVD a fairly simple process... but there is a significant trade-off. The quality that can be attained by even the best of these programs is poor in comparison to original techniques that used Cinemacraft Encoder, HC Encoder, QuEnc, or other top-notch encoders. The reason is simple. When using one of these encoders the picture is rebuilt from scratch and optimized for the resulting bitrate. One-touch transcoders usually drop DCT coefficients or change quantization info in order to lower the bitrate. This can result in pixelation and poor overall picture quality.
DThis program was built to bridge the gap between the incredibly easy but limited "one-click" solutions and the incredibly complex but high-quality methods of DVD ripping and backup.Another advantage of DVD-RB when compared to older methods is that it doesn't require access to an expensive authoring package. VD-RB includes its own reauthoring engine that reconstructs the DVD in a way compatible with its original design.

DVD Rebuilder is an easy-to-use program that allows you to backup your DVDs.
When you rip a DVD you can choose the language and the subtitles that you want to keep. Therefore, with this program, you can remove audio language files and subtitles files from the DVD when ripping it. The program gives you the possibility to remove only certain languages or subtitles. For example you can extract the subtitles in English and Italian and keep the one in Spanish. Therefore, by keeping only the languages and the subtitles that you need, you will be able to reduce the space consumption of the ripped DVD.
With DVD Rebuilder you can choose the speed of the backup, but when you will choose to run it on "fast" mode it will result in a considerable video quality loss. You also can choose the "normal" speed where you will obtain the default video quality or "slowest" where you will get the best quality.
DVD Rebuilder is compatible with all the popular Windows versions and it comes with three skin packs.
